Ash Wednesday Service
Wednesday 18th February at 11:15am in Nutley Church
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. The service encourages us to look to God and ask him for help, as we seek to deepen our relationship with him. It's a time of confession, recognising our limitations but also being reminded of God's abundant mercy.
This year's Lent Course - Lectio
This year we will be looking at the "Lectio" prayer course together.
“How can I grow in my prayer life?”
“What on earth is God saying?”
“How do I make sense of the Bible?”
The Lectio Course is a resource from 24-7 Prayer designed to equip you and your community to grow in prayer, discern God’s voice and fall in love with the Bible.
Learn how to hear God by praying the Bible together as a community.
We'll be meeting on five Thursdays during Lent beginning Thursday February 19th. You can choose between 2-3pm at Nutley Church or 7:30-8:30pm in Maresfield Church.
There is no charge and you will be welcomed with a hot drink. Each session will include a video and an opportunity to discuss the themes together.
